In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Noah Hanft, the general counsel of MasterCard, sold 5673 shares of common stock between $187.82 to $201.53. Insiders are required to file Form 4s with the SEC to report buying and selling of their companies' shares within two business days.

MasterCard Advisors reported Wednesday that overall demand for gasoline dropped last week as fuel prices drastically increased. Michael McNamara, vice president of MasterCard Advisors, reported that it was not unusual to see wide volatility in gasoline demands on a weekly basis; however, on a four-week basis gasoline demand in the U.S. has been down almost 10 percent for this same period last year.
