Adobe and Broadcom announced the integration of Adobe Flash support into Broadcom's latest digital television and set top box system-on-a-chip platforms. The collaboration between the companies brings the way to deliver rich flash based entertainment to new television sets.

Adobe lowered its fourth quarter earnings forecast to $912 million to $915 million from $925 million to $955 million siting weakness in the economy. The company plans to cut 600 positions in order to help bolster its income.

Adobe and ARM announced today plans to enable Flash Player 10 and Adobe AIR support for ARM devices. ARM CPU's used across many mobile devices including the iPhone. Adobe has released a new video player for Internet TV content. The new media player allows users to subscribe to TV shows, and download them automatically when new episodes are released. Adobe currently has support from top networks including CBS, MTV, and Nickelodeon.

Adobe released their new online version of Photoshop for free. The new service entitled Adobe Photoshop Express allows users to edit, store, and share images online through Adobe's website.

Adobe's CEO Shantanu Narayen reported Tuesday that the company is committed to bringing a new version of flash to the iPhone. He stated that they are planning on developing a version utilizing Apple's SDK that will then be distributed through Apple's iTunes online store.

Adobe Systems Inc. announced Monday that fourth quarter results climbed 21 percent, exceeding Analysts expectations. Net income reached $222.2 million or 38 cents a share, compared with $183.2 million, or 30 cents a share for the same quarter a year prior. Adobe also announced plans to repurchase an additional 30 million shares.

Adobe released a new version of its Flash 9 player, which includes support for the popular high definition video format named H.264. Bruze Chizen, CEO of Adobe, announced Tuesday that he will resign his position at Adobe Systems Inc. effective December 1st. Chizen reported that after 14 great years with Adobe Chizen wants to "take a step back and figure out what I wnat do for the rest of my life." The stock dropped 4.8% on the news.

Adobe posted third quarter earnings of 34 cents a share beating anaylsts expectations. Their third quarter profit more then doubled same quarter earnings last year. The quarters success is attributed to Adobe's successful product launch of their new CS3 software line-up.
