Apple has reached a non-exclusive deal with Mobile TeleSystems, Russia's largest mobile carrier, to start selling the iPhone in Russia. Reuters reported, that a second Russian carrier has also signed an agreement. Official sales of the iPhone in Russia are likely to begin in October. Best Buy wins agreement to sell Apple's iPhone. Best Buy will become the first retailer other than AT&T to be able to sell Apple's iPhone. Apple has sold 1 million new 3G iPhones in its first three days. The stock rose nearly 3.5 percent as many analysts had predicted much slower sales. Last year it took 74 days to reach 1 million in sales for the original iPhone. Apple has agreed to subsidize the price of the iPhone with wireless carriers. The new 3G iPhones will cost consumers $199 for 8GB version and $299 for the 16GB version.
