Fox has partnered with Apple for the first time bring American Idol performances exclusively to iTunes. Fans will be able to purchase music performances for 99 cents per song with full episodes costing $1.99. Also fans can now pre-order contestant performances, and they will be automatically downloaded the day after the performance is aired.
