Following General Motors, Toyota plans to also create hybrids whose batteries will be able to be recharged by plugging them into normal electrical sockets by 2010. The two companies are leading the way towards fuel-efficient vehicles, and its too early to tell which company will be able to bring the new technology to the market first.
