Nissan and Chrysler have reached an agreement where Nissan will supply Chrysler with small cars to be sold across South America. The car will based on Nissan's Versa under limited distribution beginning in 2009. Analysts say that the agreement could lead to further deals between the two companies, or even a possible alliance in the future. For example, Nissan could supply Chrysler with cars to sell in the U.S, or Chrysler could provide Nissan with pickup trucks.
