Toyota is announced that it is planning on showing a concept hybrid pickup truck at the 2008 North American International Auto Show located in Detroit. The concept vehicle named the A-BAT, contains the Hybrid Synergy Drive, Toyota's gas-electric hybrid powertrain. The A-BAT has solar panels used to charge the navigation unit, battery pack, and backlit information displays.
