Apple's Market Share in the U.S. Reaches 8.1 Percent (www.appleinsider.com)

According to results from Gartner, Apple Inc's market share of U.S. personal computers for Q3 were 8.1 percent, up 37.2 percent from last year. Apple is currently growing more then twice as fast any other PC distrubutor. Apple shipped 1,338,000 Mac computers during the quarter compared to 975,000 units during the same quarter last year.
