Fed to Vote On New Credit Card Regulations (www.washingtonpost.com)

The Federal Reserve on Thursday will vote on a huge reform of the credit card industry, which would ban the practice of retroactively increasing interest rates. Under the new guidelines, credit card company's would only be permitted to increase interest rates when consumers are late making payments. The move marks the largest reform to the credit card industry in over a decade.
