As consumers continue to migrate towards the Internet and away from newspapers, the industry is seeing even faster declines than anticipated. Throughout the U.S. weekly circulation has dropped by 4.6 percent over the last 12 months. As the economy continues to worsen consumers are looking at every way possible in order to cut back on their expenses.
