Apple Inc. has issued a recall on the tiny power adapter used by Apple's 3G iPhone around the world. There has been reports of the metal prongs breaking off the end of the power adapters in power outlets creating a potential risk for electric shock. Apple will begin exchanging the power adapters in Apple's retail stores as well as online beginning October 10th. The new power adapters have a green dot on the bottom so that they are easily distinguishable.
