Apple has reached a non-exclusive deal with Mobile TeleSystems, Russia's largest mobile carrier, to start selling the iPhone in Russia. Reuters reported, that a second Russian carrier has also signed an agreement. Official sales of the iPhone in Russia are likely to begin in October. The iPhone is expected to sale for 24,000 rubles or approximately $990. The price is higher then the iPhone price in the U.S.; however, it is still significantly cheaper than current unauthorized imports.
