Nissan Motors is planning to start selling cars, which will block drivers from accelerating too quickly. The new technology entitled "Eco Pedal" is being promoted as being green and safe and makes the gas pedal push upward when drivers are deemed as accelerating too quickly. Nissan says the new system aides drivers in becoming more fuel efficient. The company is also continuing to improve its collusion avoidance detection sensors, which provide alarms and automatic breaking in order to prevent drivers from driving too close to other automobiles or from accidentally steering onto the next lane.
