AT&T stores have run out of their initial shipments of iPhones just two days after the iPhone launch; however, most Apple stores still have inventory. Apple's global partners in U.K., Germany, Canada, and Japan reported that many its stores ran out the very first day of the launch as thousands lined up to buy the new model. According to initial numbers, most consumers seem to be preferring the 16 gigabyte version for $300. The 16 gigabyte version also comes in white; whereas, the less expensive 8 gigabyte version is only available in black.
