Comcast Aiming for 100 Mbps by 2010 (origin.mercurynews.com)

Comcast is looking to ramp up its cable technology in order to compete with fiber company's. It has been testing docsis 3.0 a technology that will allow it significantly more bandwidth per node. Comcast is planning to offer 100 megabits in 20 percent of its market by the end of 2010.
