Cisco Systems reported a 5.4 percent drop in profit due to acquisition expenses and slower sales. As anticipated Cisco's sales are down with the rest of the market as companies have been more cautious towards expenditures. Cisco remains positive on its long term outlook; however, it is highly sensitive to market conditions.
